This page just lists public projects I have worked on. This list does not include all of my current or past projects. This list starts with my Kubernetes Release Team contributions in 2020. This list only includes larger projects, not smaller ones like writing articles, organizing a meetup, writing code for an open source project, or giving talks.
Carbonaut
[IN PROGRESS] As part of my master thesis, I am developing the software project Carbonaut. It is an open source project to collect and refine environmental sustainability data from your IT infrastructure and make it available in a common data schema as digestible metrics. Carbonaut does not implement a scraper to scan your IT infrastructure or measure your virtual machine energy, but integrates with these tools and brings it all together.

Talk - Unlock Energy Consumption in the Cloud

Cloud Native Sustainability Week 2023
In October 2023, the CNCF TAG Environmental Sustainability organized the Cloud Native Sustainability Week. This is a global event focusing on environmental sustainability in the cloud native space and includes a virtual mini-conference, 22 local meetups in 16 countries and 5 continents, blog posts and livestreams. As the main organizer, I led the event from conception to execution.

Chair CNCF TAG Environmental Sustainability
In 2022 I started with a few fellow other community members the CNCF Technical Advisory Group for Environmental Sustainability (TAG ENV). We are pioneering the emerging technology field in the cloud native community. As Chair I am steering teams of contributors, collaborate with other organizations to build sustainability into cloud naitve.

Kubernetes Release Team v1.24 - v1.28
I have contributed to the Kubernetes open source project for multiple release cycles. I have taken on multiple roles and expanded my contributions and responsibilities in the community. I am very grateful to have been able to work with so many talented people and have had the opportunity to develop leadership skills along the way.
